José Gerardo Gómez Méndez

José Gerardo Gómez Méndez began their work experience in May 2017 as a Student Worker Quality Assurance at Nuance Communications. José Gerardo worked in that position until April 2018. In May 2018, they joined FARO Technologies as a Software Engineer and remained in that role until July 2022. Afterward, they were promoted to Senior Software Engineer and held that position until April 2023. Currently, they are working as a Team Lead Software Engineering at FARO Technologies, starting in April 2023.

José Gerardo Gómez Méndez pursued an Engineer's degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad Anáhuac Veracruz from 2010 to 2014. José Gerardo then furthered their education in Mechatronics by completing a Mechatronics specialist program at Centro de Ingeniería y Desarrollo Industrial in 2015. Additionally, they obtained a Master's degree in Mechatronics from both Centro de Ingeniería y Desarrollo Industrial and Aachen University of Applied Sciences - FH Aachen from 2015 to 2018.
