Paul Fairley McInstces

Paul Fairley MCInstCES has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Paul is currently the Head of Commercial for Scotland & North England at Farrans Construction since August 2023. Prior to that, from November 2020 to March 2021, they served as Head of Commercial at BIC Contracting. Previously, they held various roles including Head of Commercial for Qatar & RSA at BIC Contracting, Commercial Lead A14 at Balfour Beatty plc, and Senior Commercial Manager at CPB Contractors. Paul also worked as a Commercial Manager at Pasha Construction and Robertson Limited, and as a Senior Quantity Surveyor at Ballast Nedam and Aker Kvaerner. Paul began their career as a Quantity Surveyor at Gleeson Building in 1989.

Paul Fairley MCInstCES completed their Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Quantity Surveying from Northumbria University, which took place from 1993 to 1997. In addition, they also became a member of ICES, though no specific start or end dates for this membership were provided.
