Loïc Vanherck has diverse experience across various industries. Loïc currently holds the position of Head of Commercial EMEA at Medartis since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Strategy and M&A Manager at Medartis from September 2020 to December 2022, where they successfully led and executed two significant deals, including a full acquisition in the USA.
Before joining Medartis, Loïc worked as a Product & Business Development Manager at Schneider Electric from October 2018 to September 2020. Prior to that, they gained valuable experience at McKinsey & Company, where they held the roles of Senior Associate from April 2017 to September 2018, and Associate from March 2016 to March 2017.
Loïc's career journey started at ENGIE in July 2014, where they served as a Project Leader until February 2016.
Loïc Vanherck has a diverse education history. Loïc obtained a Master of Sciences degree in Electro-mechanical Engineering with a focus on Energy from Université libre de Bruxelles, which they completed between 2009 and 2014. In 2014, they pursued an Advanced Master in Management with a major in Finance at Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, completing it in 2016. Later, in 2023-2024, Loïc attended HEC Paris to obtain an Executive MBA in Healthcare Management. Additionally, in 2017, they obtained a certification in Financial Risk Management from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).

Medartis Holding AG is a Switzerland-based holding company of the Medartis Group, which is engaged in manufacturing medical devices and implants. The Group develops, manufactures and distributes to surgeons, hospitals and medical centers titanium screws, plates, surgical instruments and system solutions for internal fracture fixation. Medartis AG, the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary, has developed such technologies as TriLock for locking the screw into the plate, SpeedTip, a screw that does not require pre-drilling, and HexaDrive self-holding screw and screw-driver. It has two product lines. The APTUS product line comprises upper and lower extremities products for hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder and foot fixation. The MODUS line combines products dedicated to cranio-maxillofacial (CMF) surgery. The Group's products are sold globally in more than 30 countries, including Germany and the United States, either directly through its sales subsidiaries, or through third-party distributors.
