John Rettig

Vice President Of Engineering at Farwest Corrosion Control Company

John Rettig has extensive experience in corrosion control and engineering management. John started their career at Corrpro-San Diego in 2010 as an Engineering Manager, specializing in cathodic protection and project management for the Department of Defense. In 2016, they became an Operations Manager at Corrpro Companies, Inc., overseeing corrosion engineering services in the San Diego market, as well as managing federal DoD work related to military fuels and infrastructure. John then joined Pond & Company in 2017 as a Corrosion Control Program Manager. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Engineering at Farwest Corrosion Control Company, where they assumed the role in June 2022. Prior to this, they were the Gulf Coast Regional Manager at the same company from August 2019 to June 2022. Throughout their career, John has provided corrosion engineering support to various branches of the military and has experience working on projects worldwide.

John Rettig obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University between the years 2001 and 2008. In addition, they received a certification as a NACE CP4 Specialist from NACE International, The Worldwide Corrosion Authority in May 2015.
