Nilesh Zende

Nilesh Zende has a strong background in agricultural research and farming technologies. Currently, they hold the position of Head Agri Research at Fasal - Grow More, Grow Better™, where they started in March 2022. Prior to this, Nilesh worked at Bayer Crop Science as a Manager - Digital Farming from November 2017 to April 2022. Nilesh also served as a Sr. Manager at Mahindra & Mahindra from August 2013 to October 2017. Furthermore, Nilesh gained valuable experience as the Head of R&D at Privi Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd. from January 2009 to July 2013.

Nilesh Zende obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Agriculture from Agriculture College, Kolhapur, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Prior to that, they completed their higher secondary education (HSC) at Bharati Vidyapeeth in 1995. Nilesh also completed their secondary education (SSC) at Bhave High school, Pune, from 1990 to 1995. Nilesh then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Agronomy and Crop Science at Doctor Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, where they studied from 2001 to 2003. Nilesh furthered their education by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Agronomy and Crop Science from Doctor Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, completing their doctoral studies from 2003 to 2006.
