Alessandro Balata

Alessandro Balata is a portfolio manager at Fasanara Capital. Prior to joining Fasanara Capital, they worked as an organizer for The Quant Conference and as a project leader for quantitative research at The Quant Group St Andrews. Alessandro also has experience tutoring and teaching financial mathematics modules at the University of Leeds. In addition, they completed an internship in electricity and capacity auctions arbitrage at Dynemis.

Alessandro Balata has a PhD in Computational and Applied Mathematics from the University of Leeds, a Master's in Financial Mathematics from the same school, and a Bachelor's in Financial Mathematics from Università degli Studi di Torino. Alessandro also has certification from Amplify Trading in Trading and Financial Market Analysis, certification from the British Council in IELTS Overall 7.0, certification from AICA in ECDL, and certification from Pearson VUE in GMAT score: 700.

They are on a team with Nikita Fadeev - Partner and Head of Fasanara Digital, John McKenzie - Investments, and Vinicius Karam - Portfolio Manager/Fintech. Their manager is Matteo Amaretti, Head of Investments & Trading.
