Emily Eerdmans is a prominent design historian and the principal of Eerdmans Fine Art LLC, an art and design advisory and appraisal firm established in 2010. Additionally, Emily serves as an adjunct instructor in design history at the New York School of Interior Design and in the interior design department at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Since 2009, Emily has held the position of director for the Wendell Castle Catalogue Raisonne and has been a contributing editor for House Beautiful since 2010. Prior experience includes serving as director at Hyde Park Antiques from 2000 to 2010. Emily holds a Master’s degree in Fine and Decorative Arts from Sotheby's Institute of Art and a Bachelor's degree in Latin and Politics from Oberlin College.
