Peter Wai Chan

Peter Wai Chan, Ed.D, MBA, MS, MPS, MA, currently serves as Chairperson of Production Management and Associate Professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where tenure was achieved in August 2016. With extensive experience in academia, Peter has held various roles, including Visiting Associate Professor at Zhejiang Sci-Tech University and Adjunct Lecturer at Parsons School of Design. Peter’s industry experience includes leadership positions such as Managing Partner at Sunrise Studio Inc. and Uncommon Foundry Inc., and previous positions at Amsale, Halston, and Donna Karan Collection. Peter's educational qualifications encompass multiple degrees, including an Ed.D. from Columbia University and an MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, complemented by earlier studies in Fashion Design and Apparel Production Management at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
