Stephen Tuttle

Stephen Tuttle is the current General Counsel & Secretary at Fashion Institute of Technology. Stephen was previously the Founder of the Law Offices of Stephen Tuttle, P.C. from January 2009 to October 2011. Stephen's practice was diverse and included real estate and other business transactions. Stephen also has experience in commercial leasing, financings, acquisitions, dispositions, and project development for retail, hotel, office, multi-dwelling residential and mixed-use real estate properties. Tuttle has represented both lenders and borrowers in secured financings and loan restructurings for portfolio lenders, including life insurance companies, banks and REITs. Stephen has also originated and worked on mortgage and mezzanine lending for portfolio lenders, including life insurance companies and banks, as well as for CMBS-lenders and their special servicers. Stephen's experience also extends to loan participations and intercreditor agreements, structured financing, loan servicing, work-outs, foreclosures and property management. Prior to their time at the Law Offices of Stephen Tuttle, P.C., they served as Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer for Operations at Forest City Ratner Companies from January 2002 to December 2009.

Stephen Tuttle attended Syracuse University College of Law, where they received their Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government. Stephen then attended The New Lincoln School.

Stephen Tuttle reports to Joyce F. Brown, President. They work with Keith Heron - Director, Athletics and Recreation, Catherine O'Rourke - Interim VP Enrollment Management and Student Success, and Yasemin Jones - Interim VP, Academic Affairs.
