Jake Bright

Jake Bright is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of Communications and Investor Relations at ECM - PCB Stator Technology and as a Venture Partner at Fast Forward Venture Studio since June 2022. Holding the position of President at JRB Ventures since March 2011, Jake has also contributed as a Contributing Writer and Advisor on Africa for TechCrunch from January 2017 to December 2020. Additional notable roles include Innovation Lead and Co-Producer for MIT's Open-Mic Africa Seminar in 2019, contract author of the award-winning book "The Next Africa," and positions at BLOOMBERG LP, FOREIGN POLICY ASSOCIATION, and The Bank of New York/BNY Mellon. Jake's educational background includes a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University and a BA in International Relations from Michigan State University.
