Giancarlo Laferla

Giancarlo Laferla has a diverse range of work experience in various software engineering roles. Giancarlo is currently working as a Software Engineer at Fast Track, starting in August 2022. Prior to their current role, they worked at Hornetsecurity as a Software Developer from January 2021 to July 2022. At Altaro Software, they were a Software Developer from June 2020 to December 2020, where they were part of the Automation Team and also worked with the back-end team for a few months. Before that, at Goboony, they worked as a Back End Developer from April 2019 to March 2020. Giancarlo was primarily focused on the company's main web application built with Ruby on Rails and also worked on an internal data warehousing project. Their earliest work experience was at RS2 Software plc, where they worked as a Software Developer from June 2017 to February 2019, primarily on automated testing and developing a Jenkins Testing framework. Giancarlo also had a role as a Junior Software Developer from April 2016 to June 2017 at RS2 Software plc, where they created templates and scripts for data file processing.

Giancarlo Laferla attended the University of Malta from 2014 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc. Hons) in Computing Science. In addition to their university education, they earned certifications in "Game Development Using Unity" and "IT Essentials" from ICE Malta in October 2014.
