Darko Mandich

Darko Mandich is the CEO and Co-Founder of MeliBio, an innovative food biotechnology company based in the San Francisco Bay Area, focused on creating sustainable alternatives to traditional honey. Darko also serves as an Impact Council Member for Fast Company, contributing to a collective of leaders in business innovation. As a Co-Inventor of Mellody®, a product developed by MeliBio that replicates honey without bees, Darko has partnered with Eleven Madison Park, a renowned 3 Michelin Star restaurant. In addition, Darko is the President and Founder of Foodscale Hub, a Venture Studio aimed at advancing tech innovations in the agrifood sector. Previously, Darko held various leadership roles at Food Exporting Groups, specializing in international ingredients trading and product development in sweeteners. Darko holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Faculty of Economics, Finance and Administration (FEFA).
