Jay Westlin

Jay Westlin is the founder and CEO of Fastener.io. Prior to starting Fastener.io, Jay served as the Executive Vice President of Corporate and Business Development for SpinMedia Group, Inc. from September 2007 to April 2013. In this role, Jay was responsible for overseeing the company's strategic growth through partnerships and acquisitions. Jay also served as the Vice President of Business Development and Marketing for Evolve Media, LLC from June 2006 to September 2007.

In addition to their work in the corporate world, Jay has also been involved with various startups in an investor, advisory board member, or mentorship capacity. Most notably, they were a part of bop.fm, which was acquired by LifeLock in 2015.

Jay's career in business development began in May 1997 when they founded Captive Audience Entertainment, Inc. Jay served as the company's CEO until May 2005 when they left to join Media Data Corporation as their Director of Business Development.

Jay Westlin attended Indiana University Bloomington and earned a BA in Journalism (Media/Advertising).
