Mj Matthew Jones

MJ Matthew Jones has a strong background in product management and has held various roles throughout their career. MJ Matthew started their career as a Coder at the UCLA Institute for Geophysics and Planetary Physics in 2004. MJ Matthew then transitioned to Kavlico Corp as a Design Engineer, where they worked on pressure transducer design and manufacturing improvements.

In 2006, Jones joined Pentair Water as a Continuation Engineer, focusing on mechanical and electrical design of water automation systems. MJ Matthew also led projects related to PCBA qualification engineering standards and salt chlorine generators.

Jones then moved to Media Temple in 2009, where they held multiple roles. As a Product Manager, they developed and managed the Product Management team, facilitating Agile and Kanban project structuring. MJ Matthew later became a Product Owner, overseeing the distributed hosting environment and leading disaster response efforts. MJ Matthew also briefly served as a Cluster Team Coordinator.

In 2012, Jones joined ElephantDrive, where they worked in business development, product management, and security. MJ Matthew then joined Rapid7 as a Technical Product Manager, focusing on their Nexpose product.

Jones' next role was at Google in 2014, where they served as a Product Manager for a year before joining GoGuardian as a Senior Product Manager. At GoGuardian, they played a key role in product management initiatives.

In 2017, Jones joined Riot Games as a Product Manager, responsible for product management tasks. MJ Matthew worked there until August 2019.

Most recently, Jones joined Fastly in November 2019 as a Principal Product Manager, overseeing product strategy and management.

MJ Matthew Jones attended UCLA from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics.
