James Hargreaves

James Hargreaves has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. James started their career as a Property Data Analyst at Cornwall Council in 2008. In 2010, they joined RSM Tenon as a Trainee Accountant (ACA) and worked there for two years. In 2012, they joined OVO and held various roles, including Trading Analyst, Commercial Manager - Trading, Trading Tech Lead, Technology Solutions, Product Manager, and finally Product Lead. James worked at OVO till 2020 when they joined Kaluza as the Head of Product. In 2023, they were promoted to the role of Principal Product Manager at Kaluza.

James Hargreaves earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Solar Physics from The University of Sheffield from 2003 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering from the same university from 1999 to 2003. In addition, they hold a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance, obtained in 2017.
