Sohid Ahmed

Sohid Ahmed has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Sohid is currently employed at Fastly as a Senior Account Executive, starting in March 2022. Prior to Fastly, Sohid worked at Rackspace Technology as a Sales Executive from November 2021 to March 2022. Before that, they held the position of Account Executive - New Business at Member Check from February 2021 to October 2021. Sohid also worked at UBiqube as an Account Executive - New Logos from September 2020 to January 2021.

Sohid's earlier experience includes working at Enghouse Networks as an Account Executive in various roles, starting from Technical Sales in July 2014 to Account Executive in the ANZ region from February 2020 to August 2020, Account Executive in APAC and MEA from January 2017 to January 2020.

Furthermore, Sohid was employed at Jinny Software as a Technical Sales and Bids specialist from May 2011 to June 2014. Sohid also worked at Emircom as the Head of Professional Services from November 2006 to May 2011, where they introduced a Self Service Portal for Managed Service Customers and achieved significant revenue from delivering Ciena projects. Sohid's earlier career also includes a brief stint as a Technical Lead at Mobileum in October 2006.

Lastly, Sohid started their career at Huawei Technologies as a Technical Leader in Test in May 2002 and stayed until September 2006. In this role, they focused on reducing defect rates in field deployments and setting up a comprehensive functional 2G and 3G lab in Huawei India.

Sohid Ahmed completed their Pre-University education in the Science Stream at Kohima Science College from 1995 to 1997. Sohid then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology from 1997 to 2001.
