Charmaine Chew

Charmaine Chew has a diverse work experience in the field of product development and management in various industries. Charmaine began their career as a Global Marketing Executive/Intern at Pacific Group (China & Hong Kong), where they conducted presentations to international clients and contributed research efforts. Charmaine then moved on to ICIS, where they held multiple roles including Global Product Director for Petrochemicals & Fertilizers and China Product Development Director. Charmaine led product development functions in China, optimized synergies between different regions, and conducted strategic market research. Most recently, Charmaine worked as the Global Head of Product at DCX, where they led the development of blockchain-enabled trading platforms for commodity trading. Currently, they hold the position of Product Director- Prices & News at Fastmarkets.

Charmaine Chew's education history starts with their completion of the Python for Analytics course at the National University of Singapore in 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Mass Communication (Journalism) degree with a double major in Commerce (Marketing Management) from Murdoch University, where they studied from 2008 to 2009. Before pursuing their bachelor's degree, Charmaine Chew received a Diploma in Communications and Media Management from Temasek Polytechnic, studying from 2005 to 2008. Charmaine'sprimary education took place at Temasek Secondary School, where they completed their triple science stream studies from 2001 to 2004. Additionally, Charmaine Chew studied the Spanish language at the Las Lilas Spanish Language School, an associated center of the Cervatis Institute in an undisclosed period.

Aside from their formal education, Charmaine Chew has obtained several certifications. Charmaine obtained a certification in Python for Analytics from the National University of Singapore in January 2023. In December 2013, they completed a Pragmatic Marketing certification from Pragmatic Institute (Pragmatic Marketing + TDI). Furthermore, in November 2020, Charmaine Chew became Scrum Product Owner Certified (SPOC) through the Scrum Alliance.
