Yannick Schuermans

Yannick Schuermans has held various roles throughout their work experience. Yannick most recently worked at Fastned, where they served as the Director of Operations & Analytics starting in January 2022. Prior to this role, they held the position of Head of Operations, Data, and Product at Fastned from September 2020 to January 2022.

Before joining Fastned, Yannick worked at Uber as the Head of Operations from June 2019 to September 2020.

Prior to Uber, they worked at Elia as a Strategy Manager from August 2017 to July 2019.

Yannick also worked at Twikit as the Country Manager for the US from May 2016 to August 2017.

Their career began at Sia Partners, where they started as a Junior Consultant from November 2011 to December 2012. Yannick then progressed to the position of Consultant from January 2013 to December 2014, and ultimately became a Senior Consultant from January 2015 to April 2016.

Yannick Schuermans completed a Master's Degree in Business/Managerial Economics at KU Leuven from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2010, they pursued another Master's Degree in Civil Engineering at the same university. In 2008 and 2009, Yannick also attended Universidad Politécnica de Madrid to obtain a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering. Lastly, in 2017, they briefly studied at New York University with a focus on M&A, although the specific field of study is unspecified.
