John Walter

John Walter has extensive work experience in the legal field. John recently joined Fastwyre Broadband as the Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary. Prior to that, they held various roles at CVR Energy, Inc., including EVP/SVP, General Counsel, and Secretary, Vice President, Associate General Counsel, and Assistant Secretary, and Associate General Counsel. During their time at CVR Energy, they provided counsel on a range of legal matters, including securities reporting, IPOs, debt placements, and acquisitions. John also played a key role in negotiations and placements of capital projects and was involved in the response, defense, and settlement of a hostile takeover and proxy fight. Before joining CVR Energy, John worked at Stinson LLP as an associate and at Seigfreid Bingham, PC as an associate.

John Walter graduated from Colorado State University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology. John then attended the University of Kansas School of Law from 1999 to 2002, where they earned their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
