Rajarshi Das

Rajarshi Das is the Chief Scientific Officer and Managing Director of AI Applications at FatBrain. Rajarshi has over 20 years of experience in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence. Prior to joining FatBrain, they were a Research Staff Member at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center, where they made significant contributions to the fields of big data, graph analytics, and predictive energy analytics. Rajarshi also served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Los Alamos National Lab and as a Research Associate at the Santa Fe Institute. Rajarshi Das has authored numerous papers on their research findings, and their work has been featured in The New York Times and The Economist.

Rajarshi Das' educational career began at Loyola High School in Jamshedpur. Rajarshi then attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering. Rajarshi Das continued their education at the Santa Fe Institute, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy in mathematics and computer science. Rajarshi is currently a postdoctoral research at the Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Rajarshi Das reports to Peter B. Ritz, CEO, Sales & Corporate Development. They work with Alex Zhitomirsky - President, AI Enablement, Dave Chez - VP, Product Engineering & Delivery, and Soubir Acharya - Chief Architect.
