Christopher Barback

Christopher Barback is a seasoned professional currently serving as a Senior Facilities Engineer at Fate Therapeutics Inc since April 2022. As the Head of Preclinical Ultrasound at Sonrgy Inc. since December 2012, Christopher has contributed to the development of protocols for treating animal models using focused chemotherapy technology, being one of the founding team members. Christopher has also held a position as a Staff Research Associate at UC San Diego since July 2009, conducting experiments across various imaging modalities while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams on contrast agent development. Previously, Christopher was an Associate Research Scientist at Hagelin Flavor Technologies from October 2005 to January 2009, where the focus was on flavor enhancement and off note masking for a diverse range of food products. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology and Behavior from Cornell University, earned in 2005.
