Michael Powell

Michael Powell has extensive experience in education and coaching, currently serving as a High School Social Studies Teacher and multiple sports coach at Boys Town since July 2019. Previous roles include customer service positions at Lowe's Companies, Inc. and Madonna Proactive Fitness Center, and educator roles at Lincoln North Star High School and Lincoln Public Schools, where Michael taught Special Education and Social Studies. Coaching experience spans over two decades, with leadership roles in wrestling and football at various institutions, including Athens High School and Albion Public Schools. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education/Social Studies from Western Michigan University, along with a Special Education endorsement from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
