Emily Alexander is a Senior Consultant specializing in Human Factors Engineering and User Testing at Fathom Consulting since March 2024. Previously, Emily served as a Senior Human Factors Engineer at Veranex from July 2019 to February 2024, conducting studies on various medical and pharmaceutical products, authoring study documentation, and mentoring junior team members. Prior experience includes roles at Abbott, where Emily worked as a Design Assurance Engineer II and Quality Engineer I, leading quality activities, risk assessment, and ensuring compliance, as well as early experience at Medtronic as an Associate MDR Specialist. Emily holds a Master of Science in Medical Device Innovation from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.
