Dr. Jannis Hoch

Jannis Hoch is a Senior Hydrologist and Senior Developer at Fathom. Previously, Jannis worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Utrecht University, where they focused on various projects related to hydrology and climate-induced conflict risk. They also served as an Open Science Ambassador at the Open Science Community Utrecht, promoting open science practices. With a background in Civil Engineering, Jannis conducted research as a PHD Candidate at Utrecht University and Deltares, focusing on flood risk assessment and sediment discharge simulations. Additionally, Jannis has participated in programs aimed at integrating scientific and entrepreneurial skills for environmental innovation.
