Flood Modelling Research Analyst at Fathom Global

Joshua Green has a diverse range of work experience in various research and environmental roles. Recently, they worked as a Flood Modelling Research Analyst at Fathom. Prior to that, they served as a NASA DEVELOP Research Analyst and Team Lead at NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI). Joshua also worked as a Smart Earth Research Assistant at UBC Department of Geography, where they contributed to the development of an automated digital technology and literature database system. Additionally, they have experience as a NASA DEVELOP Research Analyst at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory and as a Geographical Science Co-op Student at The University of British Columbia. Joshua has also worked in environmental and research roles at organizations such as Transport Canada, Environmental Assessment Office, Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, and UBC Faculty of Forestry.

Joshua Green started their education at The University of British Columbia in 2016. Joshua pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Geographical Sciences, which they completed in 2021. In 2022, Joshua enrolled at the University of Southampton to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Earth and Ocean Science, where they are currently studying.
