Eddie Chan is a games industry veteran, with over 20 years of experience in the field. Eddie is currently a Board Member at Fatshark, and has previously held senior positions at companies such as Miniclip, 10 Chambers, Digital Extremes, Splash Damage, and Activision.
Chan began their career in the games industry in the late 1990s, working at various companies in production and operations roles. In 2010, they joined Activision as Senior Vice President, Head of Worldwide Studio Operations, where they oversaw studio operations for the company's publishing division. In this role, Chan was responsible for managing 8 direct reports and 180+ staff members across departments such as Quality Assurance, Localization, Customer Support, and Art & Production Services.
During their time at Activision, Chan worked closely with studio leadership teams to align long-term strategy, slate, and resources/staffing for the organization. Eddie also played a key role in managing the greenlight process for new productions, working to ensure that they were delivered on time and within budget.
In 2017, Chan left Activision to join Sharkmob, a mobile gaming startup based in Stockholm. Eddie spent two years at Sharkmob before moving to Tencent in 2019. Eddie is currently a Board Member at Fatshark, and resides in Sweden with their family.
Eddie Chan has a MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA in finance / information systems from NYU Stern School of Business. Eddie also attended Stuyvesant HS.
