Tom O'Neill has extensive experience in the business world. Tom began their career in 2011 at PwC, where they held roles in Commercial Innovation and M&A Advisory, Transaction Services, Deals - Retail, Consumer & Tech. In 2016, they co-founded and became COO of Flyto. Tom then moved on to Sherpr as an Advisor in 2017 and to Founders Factory Ltd as a Senior Investment Manager the same year. In 2018, they were a Business Growth Programme Cohort (S18) at London & Partners, a Runner-up in the Tomorrow's Leaders Award for Innovation at the British Property Federation, and the Founder & CEO of FaultFixers. In 2019, they became a NatWest Accelerator Portfolio Company and a Voluntary Board Member at Urban Patchwork.

Tom O'Neill's education history includes completing a First Class BA Hons in Business & Finance at Oxford Brookes University from 2007 to 2011. Before that, they obtained A-Levels in Business, Biology, Physiology, Psychology and General Studies from Peter Symonds College from 2005 to 2007. In 2010 to 2013, they achieved the ACA (Chartered Accountant) from ICAEW. More recently, they completed the Full Stack Path from CodeAcademy in 2016 to 2017.
