Minani Alexis

Minani Alexis is a Nuclear Safety Engineer at Fauske & Associates since August 2023, following an internship as an Engineering Intern at Fermilab where a project focused on the engineering analysis of APS-TD lifting fixtures was conducted. Prior to this, Minani served as a Teaching Assistant in the physics department at Illinois State University from August 2021 to May 2023, overseeing labs and grading assignments, and took on the role of Undergraduate Researcher, exploring novel pathways for excitation of nonradiating states in high-index materials. An internship at Fermilab as an Accelerator Physics Intern in the summer of 2022 involved work on transverse beam echos in the IOTA. Minani holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Illinois State University, earned in May 2023.
