Emily MacDougald

Emily Macdougald is a Microbial Risk Assessment Expert at FAVV-AFSCA since February 2023, previously serving as a Food Safety & Fraud Consultant for DG SANTE at Netcompany-Intrasoft from October 2021 to January 2023. Emily's earlier experience includes an internship in R&D engineering at Godiva Chocolatier in 2020, focusing on small-scale chocolate production, and an administrative role at Euroclear in 2018. Emily holds a Master's degree in Bioengineering with a specialization in Chemistry and Bio-industries from Université libre de Bruxelles (2019-2021), and has completed courses on chemical reactors at Polytechnique Montréal and an international exchange in Biochemistry at Université de Montréal. Emily's academic foundation includes a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering from Université libre de Bruxelles (2016-2019).
