Marie Davin is a Team Manager at the FAVV-AFSCA, overseeing contaminants and residues in food of animal origin since May 2021. Previously, Marie served as a Postdoctoral Researcher on the ECOSOL project at Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech - Université de Liège from January to April 2021, and spent several years as a Teaching Assistant and PhD student at the same institution, focusing on the effects of plants and their root exudates on PAHs bioaccessibility for soil microorganisms and aged-contaminated brownfields remediation. Marie's early experiences include a Master Thesis position and a stagiaire role at the Scientific Institute of Public Health, where Marie worked on the detection of Staphylococcus aureus enterotoxins in meat and validated NSAIDs detection methods. Education was completed at Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech - Université de Liège from 2008 to 2013.
