Huissen Choucri

Mr. Hussain Choucri is the founder, chairman, and managing director of HC Securities and Investment; has led the company to become one of the largest financial institutions in the Middle East and North Africa region through its headquarters in Egypt and the UAE. Mr. Choucri joined Morgan Stanley in 1980 in New York where he held the position of Managing Director from 1987 to 1993 and continued to serve as a consultant to Morgan Stanley until the end of December 2007. His responsibilities include overseeing Morgan Stanley’s emerging market activities in the Middle East and the Indian Subcontinent where he has participated in a number of privatization projects in Turkey, India, and Argentina, as well as executing several advisory functions for Morgan Stanley clients both inside and outside the United States.
