Kayla Grass started their work experience in 2004 as a Chinook Helicopter Pilot in the U.S. Army, serving in this role until 2011. In 2013, they joined the U.S. Army National Guard as a Chinook Helicopter Pilot until 2021. Since 2019, Kayla has been working as a Project Manager at Faxon Machining.

Kayla Grass attended Kent State University from 2012 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Systems Engineering Technology.
