Dr Emma Leslie Am

Dr. Emma Leslie AM serves as the President of the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies (CPCS) since March 2008, engaging in mediation support and representing the organization regionally. In addition to this role, Dr. Leslie holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at Dialogue Australia and serves as a mediator and facilitator with Southeast Asian Women Peace Mediators. Dr. Leslie has been an International Contact Group Member for the GPH-MILF Peace Talks with Conciliation Resources since 2011, and has served as a course facilitator for the Folke Bernadotte Academy since 2013. Dr. Leslie founded and coordinated Action Asia from 1999 to 2009, and directed the Applied Conflict Transformation Studies MA course from 2005 to 2008. Academically, Dr. Leslie earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Education from Charles Sturt University and holds degrees in International Development, Secondary Education, and Politics and History.
