Elina Jonsson

Elina Jonsson is an experienced professional specializing in resilience and total defense, currently serving as an Adviser at Länsstyrelsen Östergötland since February 2022. With a diverse background, Jonsson has held the position of Deployable Civilian Expert at the Folke Bernadotte Academy since 2011 and has worked as a Diplomat at the Regeringskansliet, Utrikesdepartementet from 2015 to 2024, covering key areas such as democracy and human rights in various international contexts. Additional roles include Vice Chair of the Election Board at the Swedish Election Authority from 2018 to 2022, board member of Sällskapet för studier av Ryssland, and short-term election observer with ODIHR.
