Alice Shumba

Alice Shumba, ACII, is a seasoned insurance professional currently serving as the Managing Director at FBC Holdings Limited since September 2023. With a strong background in the insurance sector, Alice holds multiple influential positions, including Board Member-Alternate for the Organisation of Eastern and Southern Africa Insurers and Chairperson of the Fire Prevention & Inspection Bureau, overseeing fire safety compliance in Zimbabwe. Additionally, Alice is actively engaged with Women in Insurance Zimbabwe to empower and promote the next generation of female leaders in the industry. Previous experience includes over two decades with FBC Reinsurance, where Alice held roles such as Executive Director and Head of Underwriting. Alice's academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Business Administration from ESAMI and a Bachelor of Commerce in Insurance and Risk Management from the National University of Science and Technology.
