Stayko Staykov

Stayko Staykov has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Stayko started their career as a Chemical Engineer at BSK AG in 2004 and worked there until 2009. From 2005 to 2013, Stayko worked as a Research and Development Scientist and IT support at the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy, where they were responsible for multiple projects related to synthetic fuels and oil additives. In 2008, they joined Sensor NITE Bulgaria as a Research and Development Engineer and continued in this role until 2012.

Stayko then moved to Sensata Technologies Bulgaria in 2012 and served as the Chief Supervisor of chemical and mechanical testing laboratories. Stayko was responsible for developing the team structure and coordinating the work of 30 engineers and 20 operators. Stayko also contributed to defining test strategies, developing new test methodologies, and designing special materials.

In 2015, Stayko joined Sensata Technologies, Sensor NITE in Belgium as a Design Engineer RnD of PRTD. Stayko led various activities related to new materials development and implementation in the field of sensing business. Stayko also served as a system architect for test setups and logging equipment for all analog temperature sensors RnD activities.

Currently, Stayko is working as a Process Development Engineer at FBGS, where they utilize their expertise in fiber optic sensing components and solutions.

Stayko Staykov's education history begins in 2000 when they enrolled in the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy (UCTM) in Sofia, Bulgaria. Stayko completed their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering Technology in 2004. Following this, in 2005, Staykov pursued a Master's degree in the same field at the University of Chemical Technology Metallurgy (UCTM), which they completed in 2006. Staykov further continued their educational journey and obtained a PhD in Chemical Engineering Technology from the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy (UCTM) in 2011.
