Ijeoma Oche

Ijeoma Oche currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at MicroFinance Development Company since October 2019, focusing on addressing the wholesale funding challenges facing Micro Finance Banks. Concurrently, Ijeoma holds the position of Managing Director at Grants MFB, beginning in January 2015. Prior experience includes a tenure at First Bank of Nigeria Ltd, starting in June 2008, where Ijeoma has taken on multiple roles including Project Manager, responsible for cross-country synergies and cost optimization, Internal Control and Enhancement Group member ensuring compliance, and Relationship Manager overseeing customer portfolios. Ijeoma's educational background includes a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Abuja, an MBA from the University of Jos, and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the same institution, alongside professional certifications from the Chartered Institute of Bankers and APMG in Project Management.
