Gerard Font

Gerard Font is an experienced football coach currently serving as the Head Coach for the U17 NAL League USA at FC Barcelona since July 2022. Previously, Font held the position of Coordinador de futbol at Athletic Matadeperenc from August 2021 to July 2023 and worked as a Tactical Analyst for the Juvenil Liga Nacional at Club Esportiu Mercantil from July 2020 to June 2021. Font's coaching career began at Terrassa FC, where Gerard was an entrenador from August 2015 to November 2018. Academic qualifications include a degree in Sports Management from Universidad Europea, a degree in Marketing and Market Research from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, a UEFA Pro Licence from UEFA Academy, a Master's in Professional Football Tactical Analysis from the Barça Innovation Hub, a National Coach certification from RFEF, and a Superior Sports Technician degree specializing in Football from Centre Alt Rendiment Esportiu de Catalunya.
