Joan Laporta Estruch

Joan Laporta Estruch is the current President of FC Barcelona, a position held since March 2021, and previously held the same role from June 2003 to June 2010, during which FC Barcelona experienced significant achievements and expansions. In addition to their football governance, Joan Laporta is the partner and founder of Laporta & Arbós Advocats Associats, a law firm specialized in sports law and integrated services for enterprises, established in July 1988. Public service experience includes serving as City Councilor for the City Council of Barcelona from May 2011 to May 2015 and as a Deputy in the Parliament of Catalonia from November 2010 to January 2012, representing the Catalan political party Democràcia Catalana. Joan Laporta holds a Licenciado degree in Law from Universitat de Barcelona and a Master's degree in Corporate Law and tax Experts from Universitat Abat Oliba CEU.
