FC Copa Academy
Stephen Lengen serves as the General Manager for New Jersey Copa FC since March 2016, overseeing professional soccer franchises, including men's and women's Pro-Am teams and a men's futsal team. Additionally, Stephen has held the position of Director of Finance and Administration at FC Copa Academy since May 2011, where responsibilities include financial oversight for a nationally recognized youth soccer program. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Accountant at Electronic Drives & Controls, Inc., from August 2006 to May 2015, managing comprehensive accounting functions for a medium-sized industrial electronics service company. Stephen pursued studies at Fairleigh Dickinson University from 2003 to 2004.

FC Copa Academy
FC Copa Academy is a professional soccer organization founded in 2004. We are a soccer family consisting of over 1000 members from the ages of 5 to 19 that come from all areas of NJ, NY, and PA. In addition to the youth academy, FC Copa Academy provides a pathway into the college, semi-pro and professional levels its New Jersey Copa FC collegiate programs (U20 and U23) all the way to the USL2 (men) and UWS (women) teams. We are a year-round soccer development program assisting players in reaching their greatest potential. The focus is on educating the complete player with a knowledgeable and caring staff. FC Copa Academy fields both boys and girls teams in each age group from U7 through U19 and beyond. FC Copa Academy teams compete in premier level leagues, tournaments, showcases, and competitions locally, regionally and nationally. Since its inception in 2004, FC Copa Academy has appeared in 26 state, 19 regional and 7 national finals & championships while having one of the highest college placement rates in the country, both soccer and academic having placed over 325 students into 153 collegiate programs. Our youth teams have won countless premier tournaments, national level showcases, US Youth Soccer & US Club State Cups and US Club Regional & National titles. We have also had numerous teams ranked #1 in New Jersey and #1 in US Region 1 by GotSoccer. All throughout the club, our teams are consistently ranked within the top 10 in New Jersey. FC Copa Academy has also developed 24 professional players, 8 of which have traveled to play with their national teams and 2 which have been selected to attend the U17 U.S. National Team residency program. The FC Copa Academy's soccer curriculum is the foundation of our development program. We strive to focus on a high technical proficiency and a possession based style which encourages creativity.
