Kristian Kjær

Kristian Kjær is currently the Head of Scandinavian Scouting & Sports Law at FC Midtjylland. Prior to this, they worked as a Master Thesis student at Aarhus University, writing their thesis on the topic of "Termination of Contract in International Football and Compensation." Kristian also worked as an advokatfuldmægtig (assistant attorney) at TVC Advokatfirma | TVC Victory, where they focused on business law, contract law, and sports law. Their specialty is Danish and international sports law, where they advise on everything from contract negotiations to tax issues. Kristian has also advised on labor and employment law, insolvency and reconstruction, and Commercial & Finance. Kristian's candidature paper was published in the Retsvidenskabeligt Tidsskrift in 2017 and is entitled "Substituting at Half-Time: Contractual Stability in the World of Football."

Kristian Kjær has a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Aarhus Universitet in Law. Kristian also has a Bachelor's degree in Law from Aarhus Universitet. Kristian Kjær's educational background also includes an STX in Social Sciences and Sports from Morsø Gymnasium.
