Niek Amelink

Niek Amelink is a professional with extensive experience in sports management and community development. Currently serving as the Manager of Business Development & Innovation at FC Utrecht since February 2020, Niek has previously held significant roles including Oprichter of Stichting Culemborg in Beweging, focused on enhancing integration and livability in Culemborg through sports and educational initiatives. Other notable positions include Teammanager & Sr. Consultant at Dietz - Strategie en Communicatie, Manager Maatschappelijk at FC Utrecht, and Process Coordinator for KNVB. Niek also contributed to the Johan Cruyff Foundation as Project Coordinator for its Community Program, aimed at engaging youth with local communities. Niek holds a BS in Sportmarketing from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and has a background in sports education from Cios Arnhem.
