José Julián A.

José Julián A. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the advertising and production industry. José Julián is currently serving as the SVP Director of Production at FCB Chicago, where they focus on promoting cross-functional collaboration and improving the production process within the agency. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Integrated Production at MONO, where they led a team of producers and contributed to building an efficient production department.

José also has experience working at Publicis Sapient, where they served as the Integrated Production Director for North America. In this role, they oversaw video and still content production for various media platforms and worked with high-profile clients such as FCA, Fiat, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Lebron James.

Before that, José worked at Zubi Advertising Services as a Sr. Integrated Producer and Digital Production Lead, where they were responsible for producing TV, radio, and digital media content for clients like Ford Motor Company, SC Johnson, Olive Garden, and American Airlines.

José has also worked at BBDO Worldwide, first as the Production Director and Founder of Glue Inc., a production management company that created regional campaigns for clients like PepsiCo, Daimler Chrysler, and Glaxo Smith Kline. José Julián then served as an Agency Producer, managing a team of producers dedicated to creating high-quality visuals for Puerto Rico and LATAM.

Earlier in their career, José worked as an Avid Editor at Digitec Interactive, where they developed content for clients such as Pizza Hut, Heineken, and Walt Disney. José Julián also gained experience in the music industry as an Artist & Repertoire (A&R) manager for PolyGram International, where they managed and promoted Latin musicians. José started their career as a Video Editor at PARADISO FILMS, editing television commercials for major advertising agencies.

Overall, José has demonstrated strong leadership and management skills, as well as a deep understanding of production processes and the ability to work with high-profile clients.

José Julián A. completed their high school education at Admiral Farragut Academy from 1989 to 1992, earning a High School Diploma. José Julián then pursued further education at Berklee College of Music from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained a BA degree in Music Production & Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, José Julián A. has acquired several certifications. In July 2018, they completed the FAA Part 107 Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (Suas) certification from the FAA Safety Team (FAASTeam). In October 2015, they obtained the IS-200, IS-210, and IS-800 certifications from FEMA. In April 2012, they completed the AUX-12 (C-School) certification from the US Coast Guard Auxiliary. In December 2010, they obtained the AUX 20 certification from the same institution. Furthermore, they acquired the HAZWOPER certification from the National Environmental Trainers, Inc. in July 2010. Lastly, in April 2010, they completed the IS-700 and IS 100 certifications from FEMA.
