Colleen Berish

Colleen Berish has over 30 years of work experience in various roles. Colleen started their career at Kinko's, where they served as the General Manager and Assistant Technology Manager for more than a decade. From 2000 to 2015, they worked at FCCI Insurance Group as a Senior Business Analyst, where they played a vital role in system integration and corporate initiatives. Colleen then served as an Insurance Operations Training Consultant, managing the design and implementation of internal training programs. In 2019, they became the Manager of Training and Development at FCCI, overseeing the design and delivery of technical, leadership, compliance, and soft skills training for the organization. In their most recent role as the Director of Learning and Development at FCCI, Colleen focuses on enhancing the employee experience around career development and power skills. Colleen also worked as a Writer for BABOK 3.0 at the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), where they contributed to the development of industry best practices. Additionally, Colleen has experience in grant writing and marketing through their roles at The Historical Society of Sarasota County and Jewish Family & Children's Service, Sarasota, respectively.

Colleen Berish holds a Master's Degree in Education - Online Teaching and Learning, which they obtained from the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee in 2017. Prior to that, they also earned a Bachelor's degree in English/Technical Writing from the same institution, completing their studies between 2006 and 2011. Colleen's educational journey began at the University of South Florida, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, attending from 1997 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, Colleen has obtained various certifications related to their field, such as "Building Relationships While Working from Home," "Creating a Culture of Collaboration," "Holding Your Team Accountable," and others, through LinkedIn.
