Marrit Holtrop has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Marrit began their career in 2007 with the MARUG, where they served on the Promotie en Activiteiten Commissie of the Marketing Associatie. In 2010, they joined Integrand, where they held two different positions: Studenten PR functionaris for the first half year, and Business contact Groningen for the remainder of the year.
In 2011, Marrit worked as a Stagiair Recruitment at HJ Heinz, followed by a role as Projectcoördinator partnership YER- De Nationale Denktank at De Nationale Denktank in 2013. Marrit then joined YER in 2012, working in various roles including Recruiter- Campus Recruitment, Junior Consultant Strategie Consulting & Techniek- Campus Recruitment, and Consultant Techniek-Campus Recruitment. During this time, they worked with clients such as Van Oord, Alliander, Eriks, and First Consulting.
Marrit's next role was at Ster, where they held the position of Accountmanager New Business Televisie, Radio & Internet, responsible for selling advertising space for television, radio, and online channels of the NPO. Marrit also worked as an Account Manager RTV-I, negotiating year contracts and maintaining client relationships with advertisers and media agencies.
Currently, Marrit is working at FD Mediagroep as a Senior Account Manager Mediabureaus, where they utilize their expertise in managing and maintaining relationships with media agencies.
Throughout their career, Marrit hones their skills in sales, account management, recruitment, and project coordination.
Marrit Holtrop has an educational background in the fields of Communication and Information Sciences. From 1998 to 2005, Marrit attended Monseigneur Frencken College, where they obtained their VWO degree. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Information Sciences from the University of Groningen, from 2006 to 2011. Later, Marrit continued their education at the same university, completing a Master of Arts degree in Communication and Information Sciences from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, Marrit briefly studied Economy and Business at Université Paris Dauphine - PSL in 2010.
