Fred Short

Fred Short has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the aerospace industry. Fred currently works as the Executive Vice President of Sales at FDH since 2019. Prior to that, they served as the General Manager at Blue Sky Industries and Aircraft Fasteners International from 2018 to 2019. Before that, they held multiple leadership positions at Wesco Aircraft, including Vice President of Global Business Development, Vice President of Sales for Americas, Vice President of Business Development, Executive Director for Europe, and Commercial Director. Fred started their career as a Sales Engineer at Ford Component Manufacturing in 1985.

Fred Short attended Mortimer Comprehensive School from 1978 to 1982. In 1985, they attended Northumbria University, where they obtained an HND in Mechanical Engineering.
