Chaminda Karunasena

Chaminda Karunasena has extensive experience in various roles across multiple industries. Since April 2017, Chaminda has served as Commissioner at FDI International, focusing on operations in Willpathu. Simultaneously, since May 2011, Chaminda has been involved with Safaharitha Plantation Pvt Ltd as a Business Administrator, managing housing projects in the Rabutan states within the Ingiriya zone and leading Agarwood projects in Raygama. Prior tenure includes a role in moulding at Elastomeric Engineering Company Ltd from May 2017 to September 2019, specializing in the manufacturing of sanitation products for solid tires. Chaminda's early career includes a position as a Dental Student at the Ministry of Health from February 2002 to 2011. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with a focus on Forensic Medicine from the University of Peradeniya (2007-2017) and a Bachelor of Information Technology from the University of Moratuwa (2003-2007).
