Dr. Katharina Göckeler

Head Of Research And Development at FDX Fluid Dynamix GmbH

Dr. Katharina Göckeler has a diverse work experience in the fields of research and development, fluid dynamics, and combustion. Starting in 2009, they worked as a Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin at Technische Universität Berlin, where they focused on studying the influence of steam dilution and hydrogen enrichment on gas turbine combustion. Dr. Katharina'sresearch included investigating flame stability and the formation mechanisms of nitric oxides.

In 2016, Dr. Göckeler joined FDX Fluid Dynamix GmbH as the Head of Research and Development. In this role, they were responsible for spray applications and offered solutions for various industries, including high pressure washers, industrial foam cleaning, fuel injection, and more. Dr. Katharina conducted tests and measurements to ensure the performance and reliability of the OsciJet nozzles developed by the company.

Most recently, in 2020, they became a Researcher at Öko-Institut e.V., where they continue to contribute their expertise to ongoing projects.

Dr. Katharina Göckeler holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Ingenieurwissenschaften from the Technische Universität Berlin. Dr. Katharina obtained a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Umwelttechnik und Ressourcenmanagement from Ruhr University Bochum from 2002 to 2008. Dr. Katharina also participated in an Erasmus program in Environmental Engineering at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2006 and at Chalmers University of Technology in 2017.
