Mónica Victoria Gutiérrez Salazar

Mónica Victoria Gutiérrez Salazar is a highly skilled professional with significant experience in project management and research within the field of biotechnology. Currently serving as a Project Manager at the Institute of Molecular Science (ICMol) since November 2017, Mónica oversees research initiatives in the Crystal Engineering Lab and has contributed to advancements in membrane biophysics during a predoctoral role focused on hydrophobic peptides. Mónica holds leadership positions in various organizations, including President of FEBiotec and Vice President of the Asociación de Biotecnología de la Comunidad Valenciana (ABiVa), where Mónica organized the XV Biotechnology Annual Congress in 2022. Additionally, Mónica has a strong academic foundation, holding a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Universitat Politècnica de València and a Master of Science in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from the University of Valencia.
