Head Coach Men National Team at Federação de Andebol de Portugal

Paulo Pereira has a diverse work experience in the field of handball coaching. Paulo started their career as a formador at Formand in 2006 and also worked as a head coach at Clube Balonmano Cangas from 2006 to 2008. Paulo then served as the head coach for Angola Woman's team from 2009 to 2010. Paulo worked as a handball head coach at Clube Desportivo 1º de Agosto from 2010 to 2013. Paulo also worked with the Tunisian Handball Federation as a handball head coach from 2013 to 2015, and with Esperance de Tunis as a head coach from 2015 to 2016. Paulo served as the head coach for CSM Bucharest Official from 2018 to 2020. Currently, Paulo works as the men's head coach for the Portugal handball national team, a position they have held since 2016.

Paulo Pereira completed their education history with a Mestrado degree in Alto Rendimento Desportivo from FADEUP, specializing in Controlo de Treino - Andebol, from 1995 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended Sec. Carlos Cal Brandão from 1976 to 1982, completing their 11º ano de escolaridade with a focus on the cientifico-naturais field of study.
